UTi260B Thermal Imager Heavy-Duty Thermal Camera
UTi260B is a featured product of UNI-T heavy-duty series thermal cameras. It is cost-effective and with a wide temperature range: -20℃~550℃. It has a higher IR resolution: 256×192 pixels than other models and includes 7 color palettes and four display modes: thermal, visual image, fusion, and picture-in-picture. It is also user-friendly and rugged enough to pass IP65 and 2m drop test.
These series products are rugged, and ergonomically designed thermal imagers with great performance. It adopts a UFPA detector to ensure excellent infrared resolution and a rich variety of palette modes. Some models have the functions of visual light, buzzer alarm, and real-time image transmission, which are convenient for various applications.

If on examination, the Technical Support Department concludes that the given case is not subject to warranty, the customer is liable to cover the product’s repair and shipment costs.
Post-warranty repair is provided regardless of the purchase date. The cost of such repair is calculated individually for each separate case.

I’m a homeowner who bought this to try and save some money on heating. I had a flir one that plugged into my phone. It didn’t work very well and didn’t fit right with my phone case.This thing is about 10x better than that.Sensor:Amazing 5/5 – I can see the studs in my outside walls, I can see at a glance what parts of my roof need better insulation, I can see what hot water pipes need insulation sleeve repair. I can look at my radiators and see if they are evenly heating and then vacuum out dust in areas of low heating. I can see where my windows need better weather stripping. It’s easy to spot outlets on outside walls that need a weather insulation sleeve to go under the face plate. etc, etc, etc…The 25FPS is great! It’s important for diagnosing electrical shorts. It makes the device feel more responsive.Build: 5/5It feels really solid in your hand. This is no toy. Professional from top to bottom. The rubber grip has a great texture too. It’s kinda like a fidget spinner — hard to put down. It looks like it could take a fall and be fine. Rubber exterior resists water and dust.Display 5/5:Nice and vivid. The pallets are nice. I’ve been sticking with the Iron pallet.Features: 4/5:This is a full featured thermal imaging camera. They make free software you can install on your PC, but it needs to be connected via USB.Some features that would give it a 5/5: Ability to record video. Wireless connectivity for the camera and to retrieve images. The ability to cast to a display or TV.Value: 5/5: There are Flir cameras listed with way less features for thousands of dollars! 18month warranty is good too.Overall: 5/5 – This is a new favorite toy. I’ve been using it when cooking, finding wildlife in my yard at night, and more. Now that I’m armed with this, I feel like I have what I need to start tackling improvements to my HVAC efficiency. It’s likely the last thermal imager I’ll ever need.

The reason I chose this thermal camera over the SEEK thermal camera was because I heard about the privacy nightmare with the SEEK app. The UNI-T app only requests for camera access and for file storage if you want to save pictures. It doesn’t ask for location or anything else and it works offline. They have the apk file on their website, so just download it and save it and then you will always be able to use this camera even on some old Android phone with no internet access or no app store access. If UNI-T goes out of business, no problem because you’ll have the apk file saved and it doesn’t need to contact any servers or anything. This simple approach is so much better than all the data collection crap you see from other companies. Thank you UNI-T.As for the camera, it does the job as expected. I’ve already discovered some things about my home with it. Very useful tool.One issue is when you first load the app, it is in Chinese. Hit the first menu item in the settings and that will let you switch back to English, and then it will stay that way. Also I found the saved pictures to be cropped for some reason, so I just screenshot or screen record instead if I want to save something. That won’t reduce the quality because the resolution of the sensor is so low anyways, as it is with all thermal cameras in this price range.Overall it is an excellent value for the money. It works well, and the app apk is available to save offline and it doesn’t ask for ridiculous things like your location data to be able to use the camera — shame on you SEEK! The UNI-T camera is a better choice all round.

I was worried that this would be a waste of money. Well the first day with it and I was impressed. I used it to identify four bad bearings at work of various types. The first four I found with a 5 degree Fahrenheit higher temperature than those around it I pulled. They were all worn out. Later we compared it to the Fluke meter at the plant and verified that it was accurate. The picture on my phone was better than the Fluke.

I’m a hvac tech, I’ve used this to locate vents coved by the Sheetrock guy, also checking electrical breaker, contractors also plugged coils. Another great tool for the price. I would recommend this product if your in the trades.
