UT89X/UT89XD is a reliable hand-held 35/6 bit digital multimeter with true RMS sine wave measurement. It can measure Max. 1000V DC/AC voltage, Max. 20A DC/AC current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode, hFE, continuity, and NCV, quickly distinguishing between neutral and live wires accurately. UT89X can measure temperature and detect neutral and live wires with a test lead. UT89XD can perform LED test. Equipped with audible and visible alarm, flashlight and auto backlight functions, this series can be used in dark environments. It attracts users with its bi-color durable case, modern exterior, and multiple functions.

If on examination, the Technical Support Department concludes that the given case is not subject to warranty, the customer is liable to cover the product’s repair and shipment costs.
Post-warranty repair is provided regardless of the purchase date. The cost of such repair is calculated individually for each separate case.

All fine with the multi meter, the only issue is that it suppose to com with free battery, that’s what the manual say.any ways, it’s a good product, I have a Fluke also, I just this one to work on my car.

It’s packed with functions, and the build quality is very good, when compared with those within the price range. Its response is quick and accurate. I love the point that you don’t have to tear the whole thing apart to change the fuses if they get burnt out. The light and sound indication are amazing! Love it! I recommend it to those who are looking for a good build quality manual ranging digital multimeter for around $30.

I use this for electronic work. It has been accurate measuring AC & DC, even low mV range. I have no0t made any current measurements . Resistance and capacitance has been accurate and similar to other more well respected meters I own. The non-contact sensor works well, but it is not quite as sensitive as the professional detector I have and subsequently may not be fully relied upon for dangerous exposed wires. I will probably confirm it with an actual voltage measurement. The live wire setting works, but is a useless feature in my mind, not much different than just taking a voltage measurement.I have tested a few transistors just to see if it worked. I didn’t compare the HFE to what I was expecting, but 3 of the same transistor measured similarly.backlight is very bright, but viewing angle drops out quickly when viewed from a high angle. It’s definitely better from a lower angle.It feels solid and well made. The test leads that come with it are OK.Overall it has a lot of useable features packed into a single box. Quite nice for the money.
